Stage 1 → Step 8

EXECUTION OF THE TRANSPORTATION STAGE

Upon completion of capacity-building and system setup (Steps 1-7), the operational phase begins. Users initiate requests through the toll-free number, and the FSM portal assigns trips to the nearest licensed operator for service execution.

Operational Workflow

  1. 1

    User Request

Citizen calls the toll-free number or uses online portal/app to register a desludging request with location and containment details.

  2. 2

    Trip Assignment

FSM portal automatically assigns the trip to the nearest available licensed DSO based on location, vehicle capacity, and availability.

  3. 3

    Trip Acceptance

Operator receives notification and accepts the trip through the portal/app. User is notified of assignment and expected arrival time.

  4. 4

    Desludging Operation

DSO proceeds to user location and performs desludging with appropriate equipment and PPE. Photo documentation of the process is captured.

  5. 5

    Transportation

Collected faecal sludge is transported to designated FSTP or co-treatment facility. GPS tracking monitors the vehicle route.

  6. 6

    Disposal & Verification

Operator completes disposal as per safety and compliance norms. Treatment facility provides digital acknowledgment of receipt.

  7. 7

    Trip Completion

Portal verifies disposal confirmation and marks the booking as complete. User may provide feedback on service quality.
